The Shoreliners Band

The Shoreliners are a very versatile group consisting of five members with a combined total of over 125 years of experience with performing for the public. Each individual in the group is multi-talented. All five members play more than one instrument and the group sings in three and four part harmony.
The group originated in the coalfields of northeastern Pennsylvania around a small town called Lansford around 1950. Since the group's conception, they have played all over the country entertaining any and all walks of life.
The Shoreliners perform for the crowd and adapt their performance to the particular audience it has in attendance. There is no venue to small or to large for the band. The band comes self-contained to work either in doors or outdoors. Being musically versatile gives the band many opportunities for performance. On any given day you could find the band playing for weddings, club dates, amusement parks, community concerts, polka dances, fair, block parties, bazaars, festivals, etc.
On a yearly basis, the band gives of its' time to help the less fortunate with live performances for the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, American Cancer Society, Helping Hands Society, and the United Way.
Band Members:
- Harry Mistishen: Bass guitar, violin, vocals.
Harry is the veteran Shoreliner, being with the band for over 40 years. His energy and showmanship are real crowd-pleasers.
- Lenny McCormick: Accordion, vocals.
Lenny's musicianship and vocal range are unparalleled in the industry.
- Bruce McCormick: Sax, trumpet, clarinet, vocals.
Bruce is the other half of the dynamic McCormick brothers duo. An excellent multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Bruce's versatility is quite an asset to the band.
- Ron Zuby: Trumpet, guitar, vocals.
Another versatile musician, Ron is the consummate professional and possesses phenomenal chops.
- Joe Bernat: Drums, vocals.
Joe is the youngest member of the group, although he is no stranger to performing. You can hear him singing a variety of songs in English, Polish, and if you're lucky, he'll do his Louie Armstrong for you also.
