Miss Polonia 2008
Monika Majkowycz
was honored as Miss Polonia 2008 during our annual event, the Polish Festival on June 22, 2008 at Clinton Square in Syracuse, New York.
Monika Majkowycz is graduating from West Genesee High School with a Regents diploma. In the fall, she would like to attend college and study international business with the hopes of securing a job in the fashion industry. While in college, Monika will explore the opportunities offered by becoming involved in student clubs and organizations, particularly dance and outdoor clubs. She will also look into the possibility of becoming a resident assistant. While in high school Monika was involved in the yearbook club, senate, choir and dance ensemble. In her free time, she enjoys baking and cooking with her Mom and has helped out a great deal at the Polish Home.
